ROOTED IN SEYMOUR: Local Commitment, Shared Values

I am not just running for District 6; I am from District 6. My commitment is absolute because my life is here. My wife, Jennifer, works in Sevier County Schools, and our three sons Gavin, AJ, and Peyton attend Seymour schools.

Lifelong Resident: This community raised me. There is a good chance you watched me grow up here, I taught your child, or maybe even taught you. I share your Sevier County Values.
Experience: I spent 16 years working as a teacher and administrator right here in Sevier County Schools. I have worked with leaders in Nashville, but my dedication is local.
Local Focus: I believe our county's incredible tax base should be used more effectively to help all residents, especially those in unincorporated areas like Seymour.

Loving our neighbor means actively working for the well-being and unity of our community. I will champion policies that strengthen our families and support our local businesses.

My faith calls me to be a responsible steward. I will approach budgeting, zoning, and resource allocation with careful thought, ensuring we are wisely investing for generations to come.

3. Walk with Integrity

"The righteous man walks in his integrity..." (Proverbs 20:7)

I learned the importance of a handshake and keeping your word. I will serve with transparency, honesty, and an unwavering moral compass. You deserve a Commissioner who is accountable.

OUR FUTURE

1. Roads & Traffic

Goal: End congestion points for residents.

I will prioritize local commutes, focus funds on daily bottlenecks, and demand project completion from state partners to keep our families safe.

2. Responsible Growth

Goal: Balance prosperity with quality of life.

I will advocate for common-sense zoning that prevents commercial encroachment in rural areas and support collaborative planning for affordable workforce housing.

3. Next Generation

Goal: Ensure schools remain an engine of opportunity.

Using my 16 years of education experience, I will champion fully funding education, supporting staff retention, and prioritizing early learning and Pre-K programs.
